Sally Hansen: Complete Salon Manicure Vox Box (Influenster) #CSMTKO
Thanks to Influenster I got a free VoxBox. This #SallyHansen Complete Salon Manicure is 7 steps of a proper manicure all in one. I was going to hold off for at least a week to review this, but let me tell you about my morning.
I woke up when my fiance came home, he works 3rd shift and I stay in bed to cuddle with him until he falls asleep. The picture to the right is Jaded 540 which is a really pretty tealish green color, which is the color I chose last night at around 4 pm. Its a very sheer color but I’ll get to that in a moment. That picture is from this morning after the following happened.
I woke up and began to pick up the house, and vacuumed, or well attempted to vacuum until I realized that the hose on the bottom of the vacuum was clogged, so here I am nail polish and all unclogging and taking apart this vacuum to get the clog out. Afterwards I washed my hands including using a nail brush from a dollar tree manicure set, and took a shower. I’m not sure how many of you ladies do your manicure the night before, get up in the morning and take a shower- wash your hair and when you get out of said shower your nails are chipped to hell? Yeah not this manicure! This picture was taken after ALL of this happened this morning, no touch ups needed. It really impressed me because every other bottle of nail polish including a few high ends ones can’t compete with this.
Now on to the colors. 540 Jaded is a very, VERY, sheer nail polish. It took me several coats to get it to that depth of color. The pointer finger is lighter because I actually did only two coats on that nail to prove how sheer this color really is. Other than that the staying power of this nail polish really has me impressed.
The other two colors I got were Pat on the Black and Red my lips. I tried them on my toe nails and the coverage is awesome. The red is not usually my color of choice unless its loaded with glittery goodness, but the coverage on these colors were amazing. Both of these colors only required two coats to get them that opaque.
