I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions.

Why bother? I haven’t met anyone yet that keeps the damn things and then you end up hating yourself because you didn’t keep the goal to loose 50 pounds, to eat better, to get healthy and your fiances are still a mess.
Your health is something serious, and something that should be taken seriously all year long, and not some fad resolution is going to fix everything. Its a work in progress.
Your bills should be pain on time and in full every month and you save for everything else.
And then the monkey wrench gets thrown in….
2013 was a pretty sucky year for me. I learned a lot about myself and what I want or don’t want in my life. I gave up on a few people that were just so toxic…
Here’s to hoping for an amazing 2014.

  1. I’ve taken on that mantra this year however I did choose a word of the year that I can focus on and get my thoughts in place as to the direction I”m headed. Wishing you a better 2014…

Hope to connect with you at the Biannual Blogathon Bash at the end of this month. Thanks for signing up.

  2. 2013 was horrendous for me, and it seems like a lot of other people are agreeing. I am WILLING this year to be better for me – and for you, too! <3
